AIM2LEARN:Changes and Updates to CMMC 2.0

The Department of Defense (DoD) launched CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) protect the defense industrial base’s (DIB) sensitive unclassified information from frequent and increasingly complex cyberattacks. Michael Hawkins, Netizen Corporation CEO, will discuss the changes and updates that are associated with the latest version of the certification, CMMC 2.0. He will share his perspective on what is driving these changes from the federal government and what immediate steps companies can take to start getting ready for CMMC 2.0 that is scheduled to go into effect in the coming months.

Named one of the U.S. Army’s “most proficient and capable leaders” during his military service, Michael Hawkins also earned a degree with honors in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and managed large-scale federal government software engineering and cybersecurity programs at executive levels for nearly a decade prior to founding Netizen. He holds PMP, CISSP, and other certifications.
