Connect with the ARM Institute at the Forum 2021, powered by ARM Institute Member The National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB)
A huge workforce challenge exists in advanced manufacturing. Lack of defined career pathways, competencies and skills make it difficult for the education provider to offer programs to meet this challenge. Education seekers -whether new to the market or looking to upskill – are unsure of what educational programs will best prepare them for an Industry 4.0 career. And employers struggle to find employees that have the skills they need for their modern factories. Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) is a federally funded national institute that is taking this challenge head-on, working with a consortium of over 300 experts. This presentation will introduce roboticscareer.org, a national capability that connects education seekers with industry training needed for high-value robotics careers in manufacturing.
